Villa College Opens Applications for September 2026 Intake

Villa College has opened applications for its September 2026 intake, offering more than 100 programmes across a wide range of academic and professional fields, with options aimed at school leavers, working professionals, and organisations seeking to support staff development.

The intake covers qualifications from Certificate Level 4 to Masters degrees. Programmes are available across business, technology, law, education, health, engineering, tourism, hospitality, social sciences, and creative disciplines.

Fields offered include information technology, computer science, cyber security, data science, software engineering, law, Shariah, Islamic finance, alternate dispute resolution, and corporate governance. Political science and international relations are also available as separate areas of study.

Business-related options include marketing, accounting and finance, banking and finance, human resource management, international business, economics, project management, and aviation management. The tourism and hospitality sector is also represented in the intake.

Technical and scientific programmes include mechanical, electrical, civil and mechatronics engineering, nursing, public health, and health services management. Villa College is also offering psychology, organisational psychology, counselling, research studies, interior architecture and design, and culinary arts.

Education programmes are available across inclusive and special education, early childhood education, primary education, and secondary teaching specialisations.

Villa College also offers international degree pathways through partnerships with the University of the West of England, Portsmouth University, Taylor’s University, and the University of Cyberjaya. These programmes are delivered locally, allowing students to pursue international qualifications in the Maldives. Engineering students enrolled in the Portsmouth University programme also have the option of completing the final years of their degree in the United Kingdom.

The college said its programmes include practical learning through simulations, internships, externships, and industry partnerships. Career guidance is also available for prospective students through direct contact with the college or campus visits.

The September intake also includes a range of student support services. Academic support is available through group and individual learning assistance, as well as peer-assisted learning. Psychological support is provided through the V-Care Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre, while students also have access to gym facilities and on-campus sporting activities.

Villa College said students can use its Learning Hub, which includes virtual and augmented reality technology, along with 16 laboratories designed for specific programmes.

The college has also highlighted flexibility for working professionals and students with family responsibilities. Most Villa College programmes are available fully online, although engineering, teaching, nursing, and pharmacy require in-person components due to laboratory work, clinical placements, or classroom practice.

This means programmes such as business management, accounting and finance, law, psychology, political science, and international relations can be pursued while remaining in employment.

Applications for the September 2026 intake will close on 15 August 2026. Submissions can be made online through Villa College’s website, with further information on fees and admission requirements available through the college.
