Allied Insurance handed over WTM participation package to the winner of Guesthouses Conference lucky draw, Nilandhe Inn. The prize was officially handed over to the guesthouse in a ceremony held in Allied Insurance on 23 October by General Manager of Turkish Airlines, Mr Faheem Bakova. Turkish Airways is the travel partner for this promotion. Co-owner of Nilandhe Inn, Mr Hassan Nasheed. Also, USD 2100 money prize was awarded by General Manager of Allied Insurance Mr Ahmed Riyazi Mohamed.
Under this promotion, Nilandhe Inn will get the opportunity to exhibit in the biggest travel market held in the world, World Travel Market (WTM) London 2017. Along with that, they will also receive return tickets to London and additional USD 2100 to use during the fair time. WTM will be held from November 6 – 8 in Excel London exhibition and international convention centre.
Mr Nasheed stated that although the Island of Nilandhu, where the guesthouse is located, is far from Male’ opportunities are abundant in the area. And that there are beautiful beaches, ocean area and reefs in the Atoll. He also mentioned that they will be participating in other travel fairs in future.
Nilandhe Inn won the promotion by competing against around 200 guesthouses in a lucky draw at Guesthouses Conference 2017, which was held at Paradise Island Resort and Spa on September 23.
