Maldives prepares to open much awaited Ismehela Hera Resort in December 2018. The resort which is located in the southern part of the country near Meedhoo, is equipped with 100 rooms.
During a press briefing given to local media, CEO of Ismehela Hera Resort Moosa Didi stated that 60 percent of the resort development has been completed. “Civil works of the powerhouse is nearly completed now. We are now awaiting all materials to be delivered. We are in the final stages, preparing for the completion of the project”, Didi explained.
Ismehela Hera Integrated Resort Development Project was launched on April 28, 2015. Moosa Didi further added that water villa works are being done at a rapid speed along with works for the arrival jetty, bar, restaurant and reception.
Ismehela Hera Resort, which is being development in three phases, will have 240 rooms in total including 110 water villas, 30 ocean villas and 70 rooms. Ismehela Hera will be linked with Kedevaa Hera via a causeway, and Kedevaa Hera will be equipped with water villas as well. More than 600 job opportunities will be made available along with the development of the resort.
