Previously operated as Zitahli Maldives, Kuda Funafaru will officially open after being rebranded as Noku Maldives.
Located in N. Atoll, Noku Maldives is said to be equipped with 50 villas (30 over-water villas and 20 beach villas). Roxy Hotels & Resorts, subsidiary of Roxy-Pacific Holdings Ltd of Singapore acquired the head leasehold rights of the property from AAA Group in 2016.
Maldives has seen an increase in the number of resorts, leading to a rise in the bed count. At present, there are 130 resorts operating in the Maldives, summing up to over 41,000 beds. This number is expected to increase with the opening of even more resorts this year.
