The celebration of World Tourism Day this 2019 would be grand according to the Ministry of Tourism. Varieties of events are planned in order to celebrate World Tourism Day this year and will be soon announced according to the Tourism Minister Hon. Ali Waheed. One such events include working on the Master plan of the tourism industry as per the Minister.
The aim of the Tourism Ministry is to do different things that have never been done before and these events will be carried out with the Maldivians in mind according to the Tourism Minister Hon. Ali Waheed. Working on the Master plan of the tourism industry will begin this year and any work which are required to be completed by the Ministry are on the brink of completion as per the Minister.
As people in the industry are facing difficulties due to the laws formed before, the government is now working on changing the laws as per the Minister. The chance of expressing opinions on changing these laws has been given to the public until the 20th of February. The Ministry will be considering the opinions of the public when changing the laws and this will have a positive impact on the industry according to the Tourism Minister.
