President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has commenced National Chess Arcade at an event held in Hulhumale’ Mini Sports Complex on 28th August 2019.
The President initiated the arcade by engaging in the first chess game played at the arcade, along with the Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof.
The National Chess Arcade is a designated hall assigned to the Maldives Chess Association by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment in order to provide a stadium for the chess players in the Maldives.
