Dhiraagu has celebrated Brand Ambassador, Hassan Saaid’s success in winning the first gold medal Maldives secured in the 35-year history of the South Asian Games.
To mark this achievement, Saaid was accorded an orange carpet welcome at Dhiraagu Head Office by the management and staff of Dhiraagu.
During the ceremony, Dhiraagu Brand Ambassador, Hassan Saaid, the Fastest Man in South Asia was presented MVR 100,000 as a token of appreciation for the historic achievement at South Asian Games.
Additionally, he was presented with a 5G mobile handset to experience Dhiraagu’s super-fast 5G network, the first commercial 5G network in Maldives and South Asia.

Saaid was the first Maldivian to win a gold medal at any multi-sporting event when he won the gold medal in 100 meter running during the 2015 Indian Ocean Island Games. At the South Asian Games 2019, Saaid won Gold in 100 meters sprint and a Bronze in 200 meters.
