Ooredoo Maldives has successfully completed their 25million dollar project to extend their submarine cable network to all corners of the Maldives.
With seven landing stations set up throughout the country, connection to the last landing station at Haa Dhaal Kulhudhufushi has now been successfully established, and the telecom giant is preparing to launch it’s ‘superfast’ 4G+ network to all islands across the nation on January 15th.
Ooredoo’s 4G+ services are already available on 40 islands, and the company has announced that broadband internet connection via the submarine cable network will also be available to all inhabited islands in the country within three months.
