Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun (Dhiraagu) has gained a net profit of MVR 449 million for company’s first half of 2016 (January to June of 2016).
Credited as the first telecommunications provider in the Maldives, Dhiraagu gained MVR 1.24 billion in revenue for the company’s first half of 2016, where as the company gained a revenue of MVR 1.12 billion in the company’s first half last year.
The company gained a net profit of MVR 194 million for the company’s second quarter this year, which calculates to an decrease of MVR 61.4 million compared to the net profit of MVR 255.5 million in the first quarter this year.
The company returned a dividend of 356 million to shareholders following the announcement of the company’s full year results for the 2015 financial year.
