The Economic Ministry have revealed that the closing times of shops, restaurants and cafés will return back to the usual timings starting from today. Shops will be closing at 10pm and cafés and restaurants will be closing at 12am as usual.
Each year, during Ramadan, the Economic Ministry extend the closing times of shops to 11pm and cafés and restaurants to 3am, to make it more convenient for the people.
Economic Ministry have informed that the authorities who do not follow these timings will be fined for MVR 2,000.
