Male’ City’s emergency backup power plant has achieved completion, ensuring an end to power outages caused by overload. The city’s robust backup power infrastructure is now fully operational.
Under the direct oversight of Stelco’s Managing Director, Ahmed Sharif, the construction of a state-of-the-art 20.2 MW power plant has been successfully concluded. This remarkable accomplishment reflects the diligent efforts of a highly proficient team comprised of Stelco’s most capable employees from the company’s power plants located in the provinces and the Greater Male’ Region.
Stelco proudly highlights that this power plant project marks a historic milestone for the organization. It represents the first instance in which such a substantial number of engines have been commissioned simultaneously within a remarkably short timeframe.
