The hospitality industry in the Maldives will converge for the 18th edition of the Hotel Asia Exhibition and International Culinary Challenge, scheduled to take place from 12th to 15th May 2024. Organized by the Maldives Exhibition and Conference Service (MESC) and Best Buy Maldives (BBM), the event will be held at both the Dharubaaruge convention centre and Usfasgandu area in Male’.
This prominent hospitality showcase will feature a wide range of exhibitors, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, safaris, and islands. The exhibition will provide “more opportunities and new experiences.
The event promises a truly international scope, with over 300 stalls set up at the Dharubaaruge and Usfasgandu venues and participants representing 45 countries.
Running concurrently with the exhibition, the International Culinary Challenge will take place at the Maldives National University (MNU) and Dharubaaruge. The culinary competition is set to attract over 500 talented chefs, with 75 resorts also participating in the exhibition.
Culinary excellence will be on full display as 25 competitions unfold, with a panel of 20 international judges and 10 Maldivian judges set to adjudicate.
