Crown and Champa Resorts has appointed Mr Martin Vossen as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr Vossen will be succeeding current CEO Mr David Feinberg who will be retiring at the end of October 2017.
Mr Feinberg, the outgoing CEO stated that a careful succession planning process is important, as it emphasises on sustaining leadership continuity while motivating new individuals and innovative concepts, that results in constructive development for the company. Mr Feinberg has personally helped train his successor over the past two months and stated that the process is essential for Vossen to carry on along the same path and be the leader who takes Crown and Champa Resorts into its future.
Mr Vossen said that he was thrilled and honoured to be appointed as CEO by the management of Crown and Champa Resorts. He joined the company in August 2017 prior to which he was the General Manager of Hotel Atlantis by Giardino in Zurich.
Previously, Vossen has been engaged as a consultant to Mirihi Island Resort during the islands refurbishment and reopening. Additionally, he has also been General Manager of the two properties of COMO Hotels and Resorts in Bhutan, General Manager of Mirihi Island Resort and Resort Manager of Conrad Maldives Rangali Island.
Mr Vossen also stated that this is an exciting phase for Crown and Champa Resorts and that he is very determined to work by utilising the knowledge and potential within the group, in order to bring about an enormous impact on the hospitality services of the group.
Crown and Champa Resorts currently operate seven properties in the Maldives. Various other projects by the company are under consideration in the Maldives, the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia regions.
