Reethi Faru, a brand new 4-star resort situated on the island of Filaidhoo in Raa Atoll has opened its doors to guests. The first group of guests arrived on the 20th December 2017 and was given a grand welcome.
The property which received its name from the stunning house reef (Reethi Faru) which is just 30 to 80 meters from shore, was leased to Mahagony group in 2015.
The resort boasts 150 well-furnished and spacious detached and semi-detached villas, which are decorated tastefully to showcase Maldivian culture and handicraft. Additionally, there are also numerous restaurants with multiple cuisines and a variety of on land and in water, activities to entertain the guests.
Reethi Faru resort can be reached by a scenic 45-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport or a 20-minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo followed by a 30 minutes’ speedboat ride to the Resort.
Along with a stunning white sand beach, a house reef just 80 meters from shore, coconut palm groves and lush vegetation, the resort offers a wide range of recreational facilities, including diving, watersports, gym as well as a fully-fledged spa.
