Bank of Maldives in partnership with Total Fitness Group (TFG) has successfully concluded BML Wow Kidz Run 2018 on May 5th, 2018.
According to BML, over 900 kids took part in the run in 3 age categories. There were a total of 1800 participants along with their parents. This year, the age category of 3-5 years started off in front of BML Majeedhee Magu branch while the run for age category 5 years, 7 years and 9 years started in front of the artificial beach, Majeedhee Magu.
Participants were handed medals of participation by top officials of BML and TFG in front of Social Center set as the finishing line for the race.
Prior to the race, BML introduced a special fundraising platform for the kids to raise money for charity. The participants handed over the collected funds to care society upon completion of the race. Apart from the money raised solely from running, 15 percent of the participation fee charged by TFG was also donated to care society which accounts for more than MVR 30,150.
