Maldives Transport and Contracting (MTCC) has revealed that the company commenced construction of breakwater of Hdh. Hanimaadhoo Harbor on 14th July 2021. Dredging of the new harbor basin is currently ongoing, with 99% completion.
The Hdh. Hanimaadhoo Harbour project consists of; new harbor basin dredging of 53,522.50cbm; harbor entrance channel dredging of 31,575.50cbm; construction of a 355m breakwater; a 50m revetment; a 270m quay wall and installation of 2,583sqm of paved area.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 57.1 million.
