Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced that they are discontinuing the collection of construction waste at the Hiyaa flats from March 31 onwards.
HDC is currently responsible for the collection of construction waste from the Hiyaa flats while the domestic waste is disposed of by WAMCO. From April 1, the flat owner is responsible to contact the relevant authorities and proceed with the waste disposal themselves.
HDC has urged the flat owners with ongoing construction work to dispose the waste to the current area allocated for construction waste by March 31 as after April 1 waste disposal to this area will be banned.
