Inspection of tourism facilities begins

Inspection of all tourism facilities will begin starting from 7th of February as per the Minister of Tourism, Honorable Ali Waheed.

The examinations will be conducted from 7th February till 7th September according to Mr. Ali Waheed. During this inspection, the Ministry will be looking into the reasons for fire accidents, actions taken for accident prevention and safety of the employees.

The inspection will first be carried out in HA and HDh atoll. The aim of this inspection is to ensure that all the tourism facilities are up to the standards set by the Ministry and to improve the tourism industry.
