Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) to earn profit of Mrf 6.5 million within the first quarter of this year.
The financial report on the first quarter of this year published by MTDC stated that the total revenue that they earned within this period was Mrf 40 Million, out of which expenses totaled to Mrf 18.9 Million.
MTDC recorded a net profit of Mrf 89.6 Million during the last quarter of 2016. MTDC was established in the year 2006 and their main purpose is to create the opportunity to bring the wealth earned from the tourism industry to each and every person in the Maldives.
