President Appoints New VP for Employment Tribunal

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Ahmed Mamdhooh as the Vice President of the Employment Tribunal.

Mamdhooh took the oath of office at a ceremony held at the President’s Office this morning. Supreme Court Justice Aisha Shujune Muhammad administered the oath.

Mamdhooh holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka.

He previously served as Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economic Development and as Deputy Managing Director and Acting Managing Director of the Maldives Road Development Corporation (RDC).

Most recently, Mamdhooh worked as a consultant on several projects undertaken by the Malé City Council.
