Sun Island Resort has introduced a special weekend promotion. According to the Human Resource Manager of Sun Island, Aboobakur Gasim, this package is offered for locals and work permit holders.
There will be dedicated flight timings under this package where check-in will be between 3pm to 4pm on Thursdays from Velana International Airport and departure from Sun Island will be at 05:30 pm on Saturdays. MVR 800 will be charged for an adult and MVR 500 for a child for transfers. Aboobakur stated that 1-night stay can be booked as well for MVR 1800 per room including a child and MVR 3500 for 2-nights respectively. Moreover, MVR 400 will be charged for an extra child and MVR 600 for an adult.
This package includes accommodation, 3-meals and in addition to this, evening tea will be provided as well.
According to Sun Island, the Eid package that they offered received huge success where over 1000 guests visited and they believe that with the introduction of this package, locals and work permit holders who would like to enjoy a vacation in the weekends will be delighted.
