During the on going Maldives Investment Forum held at Delhi, the Economic Minister Mr. Saeed has stated that the next forum will be held in Doha and its currently in the works. he also added that this was President Yameen’s strategies to promote the country in the area.
The forum’s main objective is to highlight the important areas where the country needs foreign investment and areas that are viable for both the country and the investor. The first Maldives Investment Forum was held on 2014 in Singapore. The second forum was held at China and the third currently on going at Delhi.
Due to the forum, investors can get a good idea of the countries investment policies and areas that need investing.
